CYBG, the owner of Yorkshire Bank, has signed up to the Government’s Northern Powerhouse Partners Programme.
The bank, which originated in Halifax, says it is “demonstrating its commitment to supporting economic growth across the North of England”.
The government’s programme aims to unlock the potential of the Northern Powerhouse initiative, to help cities, towns and rural communities of the North pool their strengths and boost the local economy.
