A woman who pushed a man who was then crushed by a tram in Manchester has been sentenced.
Charissa Brown-Wellington, 31, was sentenced to five years in prison after she pleaded guilty to manslaughter.
Manchester Crown Court was told she has 65 previous convictions including battery, affray and assaulting a police officer.
30-year-old Philip Carter, from north Manchester, was fatally injured at Victoria station, on 11 June.
Charissa, who was intoxicated and had taken ecstasy, pushed the victim into a gap between the platform and a tram following a heated exchange, causing Mr Carter to be crushed as the tram left the station.
