A 47-year-old woman appeared at court this morning on suspicion of murdering Dave Butterfield.
It is believed that Mr Butterfield was stabbed to death, in his home at Shirley Terrace, in Gomersal. The incident took place at around 6:30pm on Friday where the 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
After a special hearing of Leeds Magistrates Court took place, detectives have been granted a further 36 hours to question the woman.
Police have cordoned off the scene of the incident and investigations are currently being conducted.
