West Yorkshire Police are encouraging the public to secure their homes after the clocks have gone back.
The force has launched its latest autumn and winter burglary campaign asking residents to think whether they’ve ‘Forgotten Something’ as they encourage the public to take simple steps such as locking the door, leaving a light on and setting the alarm, to protect their home.
During November last year there were an average of 57 burglaries a day reported across West Yorkshire.
