University of Bradford rises in Guardian University Guide

The University of Bradford has risen three places in the Guardian University Guide, with its Chemical Engineering course one of the best in the UK.

The institution is now placed 72nd in the overall ranking and has one subject featuring in the top 10 (Chemical Engineering, ranking 3rd), and two in the top 20 (Nursing and Midwifery, and Chemistry courses, ranking 14th and 18th respectively).

The university said this year’s gain in rank has been driven by improvements in four measures, including NSS Teaching, Entry Tariff, Value Added Score and Career Prospects.

Vice-Chancellor of the University of Bradford, Professor Brian Cantor, said: “I am pleased to see that the University of Bradford has risen in the latest Guardian University League Table.

“This reflects the efforts that the University has made, in supporting students to allow them to reach their potential. We have moved up 10 places in career prospects which is testament to our commitment to provide world-class courses developed with industry partnerships, placements and accreditation. We are committed to working in partnership with students to ensure we continue to produce world-class graduates."
