Police are appealing for information following an unexplained death last week in Leeds.
The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team would like to speak to anyone who saw suspicious behaviour in the area of Tinshill Mount/Tinshill Avenue, Leeds, following the death Glynnis Woodhead (60) last week.
Ambulance services were called to a property on Tinshill Mount at 5.32am on Thursday May 12, after Mrs Woodhead was taken ill in the early hours of the morning.
She later passed away at Leeds General Infirmary later that morning and, following subsequent enquiries, police were informed and asked to investigate by the Coroner.
A post mortem revealed the 60-year-old died from an internal head injury. More tests will be needed however to determine the cause of that injury.
Police investigations to determine the circumstances of the death remain ongoing.
Senior Investigating Officer, DCI Ian Scott of The Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, said: "Police are conducting a number of enquiries into the matter and we are working to establish the full circumstances of of what has taken place.
"We are continuing to treat the death as unexplained and are appealing for any information from residents which may help us build a better picture of what happened.
"I would like to speak with anyone who saw suspicious behaviour or heard anything significant in the area of Tinshill Mount/Tinshill Avenue in the early hours of May 12.
"Anyone who has information which may assist our enquiries should contact the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team on 101.
"Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent CrimeStoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
