There was a large police presence in Dewsbury yesterday, 29 August, following two firearms incidents.
At around 10.40pm on Monday, 28 August, a car containing three men crashed into a barrier at Dewsbury Police station. It is believed they were involved in a pursuit following a firearms discharge nearby.
Two men, aged 29 and 17, have been arrested.
In the other incident at just after 1.00pm yesterday, a man in his 20s was airlifted to hospital following a suspected shooting on Ravenshouse Road.
Police said they are not treating the two incidents as linked at this time.
