Police are investigating reports that a takeaway in Shipley sustained criminal damage on the evening of New Year’s Day.
Officers were called to Texas Crispy on Saltaire Road at around 7.25pm on Thursday, 1 January, following reports of damage to the business.
Images shared on social media showed a police vehicle outside the premises, with officers seen speaking to a man at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said:
“Police are investigating reports of criminal damage to a business on Saltaire Road, Shipley.
It happened at around 7.25pm yesterday.
Enquiries are ongoing.”
No further details have been released at this stage, and police have not confirmed whether any arrests have been made.
