Two more men have been charged with firearms offences in connection with a police operation that ended with the death of a man on the M62.
Yassar Yaqub, 28, from Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, was shot dead by a West Yorkshire Police firearms officer off Junction 24 of the M62 on 2 January last year.
A handgun and ammunition were discovered in the vehicle in which Mr Yaqub was a passenger.
Rexhino Arapaj, 26, of Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, and David Butlin, 37, of Meltham, have been charged with conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and possession of an offensive weapon.
They are due to appear before Leeds Magistrates’ Court on 7 March.
