Two men have suffered life threatening injuries in two separate incidents on the M62 in West Yorkshire.
The motorway was closed for much of the morning (8 May) in both directions as emergency services dealt with the incidents.
A man fell from a bridge at Scammonden between junctions 22 and 23 at around 6.00am this morning.
Emergency services were also called to the exit slip road of the M62 eastbound carriageway at junction 24 at just after 1.00am this morning following a serious collision between a motorcyclist and a vehicle.
The male motorcyclist received life threatening injuries.
