Today, Thursday 7 July 2016, Ahmed was found to have benefited by more than £105,000 from his criminality. He was ordered to pay back £14,000 within the next three months.
Patel was found to have benefitted by more than £15,000 from his criminality and was ordered to pay back £240, having already had £5000 seized by police.
The remaining amounts can be sought at any time in the future.
Detective Sergeant Joe Harrop from the Tameside Challenger Organised Crime Team said: “We have not only put these criminals behind bars for their drug enterprise, but we have seized their assets.
“Today’s result serves as a warning that if you lead a criminal lifestyle not only will you be jailed but you will be ordered to pay back any money that you benefitted from.”
“If you suspect criminality is taking place on your street, in your communities, please tell police so we can try to remove those offenders from the streets.”
