Two men have been charged following an axe attack in Rochdale.
Mohammed Sajid, 21, of Kings Road and Habibur Rahmen, 25, of Milnrow Road, Rochdale have both been charged with attempted murder and causing grievous bodily harm.
They have both been remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 16 February.
On 17 October a man suffered serious hand injuries after he was struck with an axe on Church Road.
Greater Manchester Police officers executed warrants at 11 addresses last Thursday 18 January as part of the investigation and 11 men and one woman were arrested.
