Two men have been arrested and drugs seized at an address in Crumpsall.
On Friday 28 October 2016, officers from Challenger Manchester executed a warrant at the address on Ingleton Avenue, Crumpsall and seized a quantity of drugs, along with cash and drug paraphernalia.
Two men, aged 25 and 33, have been arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply and money laundering.
Detective Sergeant Andy Buckthorpe of GMP’s Challenger Manchester said: “This seizure has been a pro-active operation as part of our on-going work targeting those who bring misery to our local communities through organised criminal activity."
“Taking ‘party-type’ drugs such as this can be extremely dangerous and we have recently seen a number of high profile examples where people have been left vulnerable, unconscious or even died as a result of misusing drugs of this nature."
“GMP is committed to protecting the public and we will take every opportunity to remove dangerous substances from the streets and look to prosecute those involved in the supply of illegal drugs.”
