Police investigating the murder of Abdul Hafidah in Moss Side have charged 13 people with his murder.
Officers were called to Moss Lane East at about 5.15pm on Thursday 12 May 2016 after Abdul Hafidah, 18, was found seriously injured.
Abdul was taken to hospital with stab wounds to the neck and abdominal injuries but sadly died on Saturday 14 May 2016.
A Home Office post-mortem examination found that Abdul died as a result of a stab wound to the neck.
The following have been charged with murder to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court:
- Durrell Ford, 20, of Darncombe Close, Moss Side
- William George, 20, of Cowesby Street, Moss Side
- Reanu Walters, 19, of Graeme Street, Moss Side
- Cordell Austin, 29, of Graeme Street, Moss Side
- Trey Wilson, 18, of Oakfield Avenue, Whalley Range
- Durrell Godall, 20, of Kings Road, Ashton-under-Lyne
- Devonte Neish, 18, of Nell Lane, Chorlton
- Nathanial Jermaine Williams, 18, Hebburn Walk, Rusholme
- Remekell Samuels, 18, of Caythorpe Street, Moss Side
- Shannon Burke, 20, of Caythorpe Street, Moss Side
- Devonte Cantrill, 20, of no fixed address.
Two boys, 17 and 14, who cannot be named for legal reasons have also been charged.
