A third person has been charged in connection with the murder of a 65-year-old man in Accrington.
The body of Mohammed Yousaf was found at a flat on Granville Road on September 21st. He had suffered serious head injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Amna Khatoon Arif, 42, of Washington Street, Accrington, has now been charged with perverting the course of justice. She has been bailed to appear at Blackburn Magistrates on 17th November.
Muhammed Arif, 44, of Washington Street, Accrington has previously been charged with murder and Rukshana Bibi, 37, of Wood Street, Todmorden, has previously been charged with conspiring to murder, with a trial set to begin on February 27th 2017 at Preston Crown Court.
A 45-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman, both from Accrington, who were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, have now been released no further action.
