A teenager has been jailed for killing a father-to-be in Macclesfield.
The boy, who was aged 15 at the time, stabbed Ian Schofield in the stomach in Devon Close on 6 May.
Liverpool Crown Court heard how the teenager travelled to Macclesfield with a 28-year-old man to “rob Mr Schofield of money and/or drugs”.
The 28-year-old was sentenced to five years in prison for conspiracy to rob. The teenager was jailed for 10 years for the same offence, the death of Mr Schofield and two counts of conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
