An investigating has been launched following a spate of serious assaults and armed robberies in Oldham.
Officers are treating five separate incidents that occurred between 12am and 7.20am on 21 October 2017 as connected.
In every report, the victims were approached by three armed men who have either robbed, stabbed or threatened them.
This included a 15-year-old girl who was assaulted and threatened with a gun as she was at a party near to St Mary’s Way, as well as a 20-year-old man who was stabbed on New Radcliffe Street and was taken to hospital with injuries which were not life threatening.
A 17-year-old boy and a 19-year old man were arrested on suspicion of robbery, assault and possession of a firearm. They have both been released under investigation.
