Six men including the man who was critically injured in an incident of violent disorder in Bradford will stand trial next April.
21 year old Mohammed Wariss, suffered a brain injury, multiple fractures and facial lacerations during the incident in Hollybank Gardens, Great Horton, on October 3rd this year.
37 year old Ajaz Saddiq, of Hollybank Gardens; his brother 35 year old Shahid Saddiq, of Waverley Road, Great Horton; and their relative, 38-year-old Nazim Hussain, of Fairbank Road, Girlington, Bradford, are all charged with wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm and violent disorder.
34 year old Tariq Adalat, of Northside Terrace, Lidget Green, Bradford is also charged with violent disorder.
28 year old Dhaanish Akmal, of Aberdeen Terrace, Lidget Green, is charged with possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Bradford Crown Court heard that the prosecution believes Mr Wariss who is still very badly injured was a gunman in the said incident in which reports of shots being fired were made to Police.
A trial date was set for April 3rd 2017 and the remaining five defendants are remanded in custody.
