Seven people are in custody after a man was threatened with a gun in Rochdale.
At around 7.10pm on Monday, 12 June, police were called to reports of a man being threatened with a gun on Drake Street in Rochdale.
Shortly after, a group of men were seen in the Freehold area of Rochdale and a number of them were carrying what is believed to be guns.
Armed police attended and five men, aged from 18 to 21, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and possession of an offensive weapon.
Two women, aged 20 and 25, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.
They all remain in police custody for questioning.
