The Rugby Football League has terminated Bradford Bulls Northern Limited’s membership of the RFL after the club entered administration this week for the third time.
On Monday the club announced the decision to call in the Administrators blaming according to the Chairman Marc Green the winding up petition from the HMRC.
This is the third time the club has entered administration and Marc Green only bought the club out of the last administration back in 2014. He added “I will be working closely with the Administrators over the coming weeks and it is my intention to regain this club from them within the shortest practicable time frame.”
The RFL has said it is in discussions with the appointed administrators about their plans for the future of the club. The RFL Board will then consider any proposals put forward by the administrators to secure the future of the club. Membership (and the conditions of any membership) of the RFL is then entirely at the discretion of the RFL Board.
A statement from the RFL said “This is clearly a distressing time for supporters, players and employees of Bradford Bulls. We will aim to keep them updated of any progress as and when we can.”
