Residents were evacuated from their homes in Salford on Saturday night, 6 May, to flee to safety from a raging fire.
Around 20 people were ordered to leave their homes and were put into temporary accommodation during a huge blaze at Wardley Industrial Estate in Worsley.
Eight fire engines were sent to the scene, with plumes of smoke and flames being visible for miles around.
Damaged power lines came down between Moor Side and Walkden railway stations, resulting in suspensions to railway services as essential repairs were undertaken overnight.
Greater Manchester Fire Service believes the fire involved a large quantity of recycled computer parts in an industrial container.
