Police investigating the death of Beyake Keita Ann have launched a fresh appeal for information on what would have been his 22nd birthday.
Beyake was attacked by a gang of men while playing football with other males in Attock Park, Laisterdyke at about 8pm on Tuesday, 23 August. He suffered serious head injuries and sadly died in hospital three weeks later.
Officers returned to the scene at 1pm earlier today, where an appeal video featuring Beyake's sister and father was played as police continue to appeal for people to come forward with information.
Fifteen men have been questioned by detectives as part of the investigation - nine of whom are currently on bail as enquiries continue. This investigation is being led by Detective Chief Inspector Ian Scott, of the Homicide and Major Enquiries Team.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide and Major Enquiries Team on 101.
