Police in Kirklees are urging members of the public to be vigilant after three reports of robberies on people's homes in Batley.
The robberies all happened in streets close to Bradford Road.
The first of the three incidents happened on 1 May in Carlinghow when the victim, an 89-year-old woman, was pushed to the floor as three men forced entry into her property.
The second incident happened on 3 May in the Hyrstlands Park area, when four men forced entry to a property through the back door and knocked the victim – this time an 84-year-old woman - to the floor.
The third incident happened in Soothill on the same day, when three men forced entry to the property through a back window. The victim, a man aged 80, was pushed to the floor.
In all cases at least one of the men stayed with the victim as the others stole cash and jewellery.
The robberies are currently being treated as separate incidents but police are not ruling out that they may be linked.
