West Yorkshire Police launched a week-long operation today, 21 August, to tackle child sexual exploitation (CSE) and anti-social behaviour in Huddersfield.
They will be working in partnership with various organisations throughout the operation in the town centre including Social Services, Barnardo’s, Sexual health workers, mental health nurses, Choices, DVLA, VOSA and licencing.
There will be high visibility patrols on the streets and Roads Policing Teams will be patrolling the roads of Huddersfield with the main focus to highlight the dangers of speeding, drink or drug driving, using a mobile phone and not wearing a seatbelt.
