A police officer was punched in the face during a chase through Chorlton.
A car refused to stop for police in the centre of Chorlton on Thursday morning (22 February).
Following a pursuit three officers left their unmarked car and chased the offender on foot, who then punched one of the officers in the face.
The injured police officer was taken to hospital with facial injuries.
A man was arrested at the scene.
