Police were called at around 15.38pm on Saturday (01.04.2017) to Bramley Shopping Centre in Leeds after a man was seriously injured when he was chased.
A 27-year-old man has been taken to hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.
Early stage enquiries are on-going in to what is believed to have been a targeted incident and a scene remained in place for the day.
Police patrols have been increased in the area to offer reassurance to the community.
