Detectives are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in Greater Manchester.
Sometime between 8pm and 9pm on Wednesday 14 June the victim - who is in her 20s - was walking in Alkrington Woods in Middleton, near to the entrance on Manchester Road.
A man grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her before she managed to fight him off and run away.
The offender is described as white, in his mid-20s, of skinny build, around 5ft 7ins tall and was wearing a black scarf over his mouth and nose.
He was also wearing a black hooded top with the hood up, black tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
Police are asking for anyone who has any information to get in touch.
