40-year-old, Amardeep Sahota absconded while on escorted leave from a mental health unit.
Police in Ealing, west London, are appealing for information to trace a man who may now be in Bradford.
Amardeep Sahota, was last seen at around 11.30am on Thursday, 12 May at the Broadway on Uxbridge Road, Ealing.
He has been receiving treatment at the mental health unit after being detained under sections 37 and 41 of the Mental Health Act and can be violent.
He is described as an Asian male with a stocky build, 5ft 9ins and is bald. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with a blue jumper, blue jeans and black shoes.
It is believed he could be in the Bradford area. He has none of the medication he requires with him.
