An elderly man who was found seriously injured within his own home in Glasgow has died.
Emergency services were called out to the scene on Victoria Road, in the Govanhill area, at around 9.10am yesterday, 3 May.
Police have not revealed the circumstances leading up to the 80-year-old's death but they have confirmed that they are not treating it as suspicious.
CID officers could be seen entering the flat, which is above a tanning salon and newsagents, throughout the morning.
A post mortem will take place in due course.
Shortly following the incident, emergency services were called out to the same street again around lunchtime.
Police could be seen examining a car and a woman was taken into an ambulance.
Police carried out door-to-door enquiries following the second incident in Govanhill.
