Councillor Zafar Ali has been formally installed as the new Lord Mayor of Bradford for the civic year 2018 to 2019 at the annual ‘Mayor Making’ ceremony.
After the Mayor Making ceremony today (15 May) the new Lord Mayor also officially launched his Lord Mayor’s Appeal and announced the charities he has chosen to support.
This year’s Lord Mayor’s Appeal will be split between Bradford Nightstop and Manorlands Hospice.
