The new Lord Mayor of Bradford was installed today, 16 May.
Councillor Abid Hussain succeeded Councillor Geoff Reid, who will now return to his role as a Liberal Democrat councillor in Eccleshill.
Cllr Hussain’s regular position is as a Labour councillor for Keighley Central.
Charities he has chosen to support, as part of his Lord Mayor’s Appeal, include the Down Syndrome Training and Support Service and the Wishing Well Appeal.
