Dermatology specialists at Bradford Hospitals are hoping to find new ways to treat patients with early stage psoriasis.
Psoriasis is a skin condition that causes red, flaky, crusty patches of skin and affects around 2 per cent of people in the UK.
A team led by Consultant Dermatologist Professor Andrew Wright have already been involved in a number of clinical trials for psoriasis treatment, and the latest research is focusing on people who have developed the condition only recently.
They are aiming to trial new treatments which could prevent the condition from becoming more severe.
