Bradford will host a range of cutting edge global digital creative companies at a major brokerage event as part of next year’s Yorkshire Games Festival, a five-day celebration of games culture, design and production.
Organised by Bradford Council’s Enterprise Europe Network, the two-day business matchmaking event, Up Your Game will give regional companies a unique opportunity to meet top creative innovators and explore how new technology can be applied to boost growth and profitability.
Featuring special guests, workshops, and digital games master-classes, the Yorkshire Games Festival will take place for a third consecutive year at the National Science and Media Museum in February 2019.
Coun Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Regeneration, Planning & Transport, said: “This international event is a really exciting opportunity for all Bradford companies to find out about innovative technology related to the video game industry that could be relevant to their business, and to network and collaborate with businesses from around the world.
“We’re proud to be co-organiser and supporter of both the Yorkshire Games Festival and the Up Your Game matchmaking event. We hope that the Bradford and wider Northern business community will get behind the event and get involved, to see how they might benefit from embracing new technology - and also have a great time in the process!”
