Several new businesses are taking roots in Bradford's Priority Streets area after receiving funding from the City Centre Business Growth Scheme.
Bradford's Priority Streets Scheme aims to encourage business growth and new job opportunities in the city centre, targeting Darley Street, Ivegate, Kirkgate, Rawson Square and Rawson Place.
The funding offers a package of assistance to include property improvements and/or the purchase of machinery or equipment, and also business rates relief if jobs are created.
Coun Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council's Executive Member for Regeneration, Planning and Transport, said: "I'm delighted that so many new businesses are springing up in the city centre.
"Our Priority Streets Programme is all about boosting small businesses and giving them the opportunity to flourish."
