Musical youngsters of note in competition for Leeds Festival

A competition is seeking talented young musicians with the offer of playing Leeds and Reading Festivals.

The Martin House Hospice Centre Stage competition, now in its 10^th year, hosts heats in Leeds Belgrave Music Hall before a final at the city’s O2 Academy.

The chosen winners then have the chance of a lifetime to play in front of thousands of people at the summer festivals.

The scheme has raised more than £225,000 for Martin House, which cares for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.
