A murder investigation has been launched after a man died four days after being attacked in Greater Manchester.
On 9 June the victim, aged 43-years-old, got into a car on Masefield Drive in Farnworth and was driven to Century Mill.
It is believed he was then assaulted by a group of men, before being driven back to Masefield Drive.
The man was taken to hospital for treatment and left the following day. However, he was readmitted two days later and sadly died on Tuesday, 13 June.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in police custody for questioning.
