Two teenagers have been charged with attempted murder following a spate of shootings in Huddersfield.
Ryan Ncube, an 18-year-old from Deighton, and a 17-year-old male from Dalton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged for firearms offences.
In one incident a taxi driver was shot at whilst in his vehicle. The victim required treatment for shotgun pellet injuries.
Ncube was charged with attempted murder in relation to two firearms discharges in Holays and New House Road in Huddersfield last week.
The 17-year-old was charged in relation to three discharges in Holays, New House Road and Dalton Fold.
It is understood at least eight people have been arrested during an extensive investigation, the youngest being a 14-year-old boy.
