Bradford-based Manningham Housing Association has been named a finalist in three categories at the Housing Executive Awards, including Housing Association of the Year.
Manningham Housing Association (MHA) is celebrating after being shortlisted for three national honours at the Housing Executive Awards, including the prestigious Housing Association of the Year title.
The association’s £4.3 million Odette’s Point development at Shann Lane in Keighley — delivered in partnership with Avant Homes, Homes England and Bradford Council — is a finalist for Best Affordable Housing Development. Meanwhile, MHA’s Head of Corporate Services, Carolina Padovezi de Oliveira, has been nominated for the Women in Social Housing Award.
The Housing Executive Awards is the UK’s leading celebration of social housing achievements, shining a spotlight on innovation and the individuals driving progress in the sector.
This latest recognition follows a strong year for MHA, which earlier won Landlord of the Year at the Northern Housing Awards in Manchester, while tenant panel member Tausif Mohammed was crowned Tenant of the Year.
Founded in 1988, MHA now manages over 1,400 homes for more than 6,000 residents in Bradford and Keighley. It is the first housing association in the UK to be accredited for promoting equality, diversity and inclusion, and the first in the world to secure the global Standard for Diversity and Inclusion in HR Management.
Chief Executive Lee Bloomfield said:
“We have had a fantastic year of achievement across all areas of activity. Being shortlisted for three Housing Executive Awards is testament to the success we have had and a source of great pride for the team I am privileged to lead.”
Chair Rupert Pometsey added:
“Whatever happens on the night, this is a remarkable outcome for a small housing association known for punching well above our weight. I wish everyone the best of fortune at next month’s awards ceremony, with a special mention for Carolina who is a strong contender for the Women in Social Housing Award.”
The winners will be announced on Tuesday 14 October 2025 at Bolton Wanderers FC Stadium.
