A man suffered serious facial injuries in an alleged street fight between groups of men in Bradford.
Emergency services were called to Silverhill Drive, in the Bradford Moor area, on Sunday afternoon (1 July), to an incident described by police as “violent disorder”.
A 42-year-old man suffered a serious facial injury, after possibly being hit by a stone, and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Two men, aged 42 and 20, were arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of affray.
A bomb disposal unit had been sent to the scene due to a package found during a house search on Silverhill Drive, linked to an earlier incident. An item was recovered and examined by specialists who confirmed it was not suspicious.
