A man with a knife was arrested in Manchester city centre.
There was a large police presence outside of the Arndale Centre yesterday morning, 30 January.
Eye witnesses claim the man was arrested by armed officers near to the entrance of Next on Corporation Street.
Greater Manchester Police said the man was arrested on suspicion of affray and the incident was not terror related.
