A man was tasered twice by police after brushing off a knife wound in a rampage at a nightclub.
Kevin Turner, 25, had been stabbed during a fight in Bar 409 club in Failsworth, near Oldham on 21 July. Despite his injuries he went to his car and grabbed a two-foot meat cleaver from the boot.
Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court heard how Turner, a Muay Thai boxer, ran back to the club and began swinging the blade.
Three police officers attended and deployed a 50,000 volt Taser gun at him but were forced to unleash a second round before he finally collapsed to the ground.
He was jailed for 12 months after he admitted affray and possessing a bladed weapon in a public place.
