A man was punched and kicked to the floor during an unprovoked attack in Rochdale.
Shortly after 1:50am on Sunday 13 August 2017, police were called to Drake Street to reports of an assault.
The victim was approached by three men and a woman on Drake Street who punched and kicked him to the floor. They continued to kick the victim as he lay on the ground.
The offenders then fled up Drake Street in the direction of Manchester Road.
The victim, a 25-year-old man, was left with serious head injuries.
He remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
An investigation has been launched and police are appealing for any witnesses.
