Peter Telfer has pleaded guilty to the murder of John Baker in Glasgow.
The 25-year-old admitted to the murder of 76-year-old Mr Baker, which took place in June 2016 near Abercromby Street in the Calton area of Glasgow. He also admitted robbery and attempted robbery.
A police spokesperson has described how the murder was the culmination of a violent crime spree on the part of Peter Telfer, who robbed a woman at knifepoint before going on to kill Mr Baker.
