A man who was suffering a seizure, possibly related to the synthetic drug spice, was reportedly nearly set on fire by onlookers in Manchester.
The man, believed to be homeless, fell ill on Thomas Street yesterday morning, 17 May.
Witnesses told police that onlookers sprayed the man with deodorant before attempting to set him on fire.
The Fire and Rescue Service were also called out to the scene but when officers arrived there was no trace of a fire.
The man was taken to hospital by the emergency services for treatment.
