A man has been jailed for stabbing a housemate during an altercation over a cucumber.
Imad Karim lashed out with a kitchen knife after Rabwar Hanii took the vegetable he was preparing for a meal at their shared accommodation on Southfield Lane, Great Horton, Bradford, on 17 March.
Hanii suffered stab wounds to his face and leg, and Karim received a broken nose in the fight.
Karim, 21, pleaded guilty to unlawful wounding after first saying he acted in self-defence.
He was jailed for nine months.
