A 25 year old Bradford man has been locked up for four months for aggravated vehicle taking.
Bradford Crown Court heard that Adeel Khan of Chelwood Drive, Allerton, was the passenger in a stolen car that rammed a police vehicle during a three mile Police chase on October 19 last year
Khan, the court heard, had 14 previous convictions for 29 offences including driving carelessly and dangerously, having no licence and repeated offences of driving while disqualified.
Khan was sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and without a licence, two days after committing the aggravated vehicle taking and is currently serving extra time until June.
Khan has now for the aggravated vehicle taking not only been sentenced to four months but also been banned from driving for 12 months, to run concurrently with an existing two year ban.
