Zubair Pervez has been jailed for five years after he was found guilty of assaulting two teenage girls at Manchester Metropolitan University halls of residence.
Married father of one Zubair Pervez had denied two charges of sexual assault at Manchester Crown Court but was found guilty by a jury after the trial heard how one of his victims had had to fight him off when he forced his way into her room before he restrained her on the bed and sexually assaulted her. His second victim had been lying in bed when she awoke to find Pervez lying on top of her touching her in a sexual way.
Pervez was visiting a friend in November 2014 when he spotted the girls in a nightclub and then along with his friend went to the girl’s halls where he attacked them both.
