A man has been jailed for life after fatally stabbing a man in the groin in Salford.
Anton Farrell, 23, of Fenney Street East in Salford was sentenced at Manchester Crown Square yesterday, 14 December, to life in prison for the murder of 19-year-old Karl Harrison.
On the 19 June, Karl was outside his friend’s house on Bradley Avenue when Anton Farrell arrived on a bicycle and then began attacking Karl before stabbing him twice.
Friends took Karl straight to hospital where he sadly died as a result of his injuries.
A search was then launched for Farrell and 10 days later police executed a warrant at an address on Devonshire Street and arrested him for murder.
He will serve a minimum of 21 years.
