A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed in Moss Side.
Shortly before 8.40pm on Tuesday, 8 August, police were called to reports of a large fight on Crosshill Road.
On arrival, officers discovered four people had suffered stab wounds and were taken to hospital. Sadly, an 18-year-old man died shortly afterwards.
A police spokesperson has stressed that the incident is not linked to the conviction of eleven people on Tuesday for the murder of Abdul Wahab Hafidah in Moss Side.
