A man has been charged over the death of a woman in Leeds earlier this year.
Sarah Henshaw was found dead in her flat in the Redcourt apartments building in Armley by emergency services on 12 February.
An inquest found the 40-year-old had noticeable head injuries and an electric cord around her neck.
Kileo Mbega, aged 31, appeared at Bradford Magistrates Court today (22 May) charged with the murder.
He has also been charged with one count of fraud by false representation.
